signalcorps Posted May 26, 2012 Share Posted May 26, 2012 Hello: have two questions about the Ferret. 1 - the temperature marker always indicates maximum temperature even with the engine stopped cold. Where is located the temperature transmitter? not find it. 2 - I have to change the 2 gaiters transmission located near the wheels. I have to remove exactly to put them? Thank you for your help. fv1609 Posted May 26, 2012 Share Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) Vicente in answer to #1. You have an open circuit in the temperature sensor circuit. The sensor is located close to plug #2. Unscrew the connector to it. There are two pins it should measure something like 98 ohms at 68 deg F (20 deg C) & that circuit should draw about 40 ma of current.
