fayjo56
Have I completely lost the plot? One front spring has a leaf more than the other, is this correct? If not how many should there be? :nut:
rippo
Hello,
The front springs should have 9 leaves each. Did you have any luck with your broken one?

Regards John

fayjo56
All very strange, the good spring has 9, the other has 10 including the broken leaf!. The broken leaf is the one with the locating holes for the clips, I wonder if that is why it was left in along with a replacement leaf? I have been given a civvy bedford spring, so may use a leaf from that, but also leave one leaf out I guess. Very confused, I have counted the leaves several times to be sure:nut:
cosrec
Many years ago we looked after three Commer TS3 cattle trucks for a local farmer. He had us fit an extra leaf on each nearside front spring said they steered better something to do with the camber on the roads?
