Dave C
Hi Andy I had a problem with my TomTom last week. I updated the software when I Connected it to my PC. After it updated itself it would not let me use it. If you Google TomTom you will find a Help and repair Tel No. I think it was an 0845 Numbe,. Phoning the No i got through to there help/repair desk. (in Amsterdam) having fixed my software problen, I asked if they could replace the battery and where/ how much approx. £25 pounds plus P/P. seams like good value but I did not ask were I would need to send it ! (fool I am) Regards Dave
Topdog
Dave, get a new battery from fleabay about £8. Open the back and plug it in. I have done it, it is really easy. Just put in tom tom battery. Needs a v small screwdriver. As for the charging port, try a small computer repair shop. Its all the same small usb socket, either that or squeeze it closed with small pliars.
