Try contacting Brian Baxter at the R.E.M.E Museum at Arborfield. They hold records there for all the workshops that existed. Good luck.

 

Unless new info has been found, I spoke to Brian years ago about this and he had never seen a list. Be aware that the AAW's are not military workshops, but often garages or manufacturers service centres who were contracting to the Ministry of Supply. A few have been identified, but I have not taken note of them.
