DWS
Living in Holmfirth, I went to try and find it the other day after seeing it on Google Earth. I found the field - empty! However, I did notice a small holding near by with a stone barn which had a modern and very large shutter door added to it, I guess the T34 was inside. ajmac
On the same subject.... Does anyone remember the T34 that was in the beer garden of the Red Lion pub in Bobbington, Staffordshire? When I popped in last year the pub had had a make over and the tank had gone, it had been in good condition, I think it was driven into position before most of the inside was removed so th kids could play in it. Anyone know where it ended up?
snowtracdave
Google Earth pics quite often seem to be a long way out of date - the last time I looked at the photo of my own place it showed my Range Rover parked in the garden and that was scrapped three or four years ago ! haybaggerman
When I look at our place on google earth I can see the telegraph pole A frames we made a party tent out of for my 30th birthday, now planning the 40th for next year
