Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Hi everyone, just a short introduction, my name is john from sunny Standish in Wigan, i have a lot of interest in militaria, mainly clothing, we have an army surplus business in Leigh, Lancs. Please do not report me for spamming as i am not mentioning our business name, to be honest, we dont need to advertise on forums!!! Has anyone on here ever been to the Wheels and Wings Show in Elvington?? Just asking because we will have a pitch there this year and wondered how the weekend is, having never attended before?? We mainly do game fairs and steam rallies but have decided to try the Elvington show and also the new manchester military expo later this year near the Trafford centre. If anyone can give me any info about the elvington show (crowd sizes etc) i would be very grateful, may even see you there!! Thanks for reading my ramblings :-) Where abouts in Standish r you from I have a friend who lives off Cranleigh near the golf course. The same golf course that I would like to drive over in the Ferret:nut: Whats this about sunny Standish every time I go near Standish it rains! Leaving Standish always brings out the sunny weather. R you sure that Standish isn't in Wales the same happens when I leave Wales the sun comes out.
