Tony B
Has anyone done one? If so, how do you get the box clear of the engine? Everything is loose, including the pressure plate, but it will not relase the clutch plate.

Tony, You have obviously not read the manual :readbook: If you have not got the box out, then why is the pressure plate loose? I am sure you asked this recently, the tyre pump has to be removed first, then with selector top removed as well, the box is turned to 90 degrees so that it can be withdrawn over the cross member. Then, you can remove the clutch. I have no doubt your old mentor, Howard told you to plan a job before you started

0 rippo
We made the mistake when we did my dads ql many years ago. If you put it in the normal way it won't work and the springs willl foul the pressure plate.
