robin craig
We are looking to acquire a 432 MK1, any comments on their usage and long term reliability and spares scaling? Robin
paulob1
mk 1's are a bit of pain as the B81 is even more trouble than the k60 in terms of maintenance and reliability...if you can get a k60 it would be a better bet...in my opinion anyway... barrynevuk
Hi Robin, I run a Mk 1 432. We've had it about a year now with no problems at all. You have to bear in mind as its a petrol engine you will have plugs points etc. which need to be serviced and checked regularly, as well as the oil changes etc. The parts are still available but due to the nature of the B series engines relaiability is generally very good. Dougy FV432
Hi All, Robin, are there any 432's with the K60 over there in Canada. Would have thought the 432mk2s a safer bet, more parts seem to be available. Have been contacted by a couple of Mk1 owners in Canada and USA through the 432 website and they want to convert them to diesels!! At least with the mk1 they will have a rarity value.
