ford 369 Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I was talking to another forum member "carrierbarry" yesterday and he asked me if I knew anything about a hurricane that crashed in Rickmansworth area on 26 april 1940,I did not so had a quick look on the net last night and found it crashed on the Harefield estate Near Rickmansworth but no other info ,does anybody know where I go from here ? honeileen Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 Sgt J.A.Anderson of No 253 Squadron was wounded on the 14th of September 1940. He was in combat with a Bf 109 near Faversham and baled out of his stricken Hurricane I (P3804) at 18:10hrs.
