    Thanks. I have two identical looking carbs one of them came off my B80 (Saracen engine I believe) but don’t know which one...one has v clear numbers - haven’t checked the other one yet..

    I’m with you tankdriver....although I have discovered that if you buy a special tool for doing up the 9/16 inch nuts on Landrover propshafts, it’s effectively a one piece extension bar and 9/16 socket in one - it just fits the cylinder head nuts on B series engines - the necked extension clearing the head allowing you to get a torque wrench on the nuts.

    Dear All, its been a while... i have a brand new j60 cvrt oil filter housing top that is bare. I need the mounting bracket that is used to bolt the oil filter to the block, the threaded union and the elbow union, both of which bolt to the filter housing head with three 1/4 unf/bsf screws each. Can anyone help? Also can any one tell me what size the threaded unions are? B60 seems to be a 5/8(?) bsp size. These are bigger. andrew

    Hi all, did the B80 ever use the same carburettor as the j60? I’ve bought one and it as listed as a B80 engine carb but the hole pattern suggests it was a j60. If B8os did use them did they change manifold or change the hole pattern on the bottom of the carb? thanks A drew

    Hi all, i want to complete the build of my Ferret engine and ancilliaries so I can run it up. I’m missing the following parts, can anyone help? engine solid mount block nearside. oil pipes return from block to oil cooler and from cooler to oil tank coolant pipe from rear of engine block to bottom of lower radiator pipe Engine oil dip stick oil filler pipe (mine is bent forward and the mounting flange is now distorted) coolant drain tap Any help gratefully received.
