One of our members has owned this Anti-aircarft gun for several years but has been unable to find any info, so have any of you come across one like it or can you point us in the right direction to any publications?
Very well engineered Swiss Hispano Suiza Type 404 20mm canon
60 Round Drum
Rate of fire: 600-700 per minute
Range: 5500m
Did find some references to the aircraft version but not this trailer one
Thanks
Paul
Turned out to be a great warm up for our June show and we were so lucky with the weather. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed a ride in the Samaritan so thanks to Graham for that. And the North Staffs as usual put on a great diorama.
I even donned my new uniform but it did itch, so don't laugh.
Did you know that every time your car goes past a speed camera, even 1mph over the specified limit, it is registered and put on a database?
You only get a ticket if you are way over the limit or, (this is the bit that I didn't know) if you receive over 10 near misses, you will be classed as a serial offender and get a ticket the next time you go just over the limit. This is why you hear of people being done for 34mph in a 30mph zone, when others doing 39 escape. You can check what has been registered against your vehicle at the following web address:

I had a chuckle on hearing about the village of Sh1tterton in Dorset, quite often when residents give their address on the phone people hang up thinking its a prank call.
I have a CD that I could burn a copy of, lasts about an hour with made up selections of Military Radio traffic with American, English, German, Japanese & Russian versions, or I could email the files, cheers Paul
A friend of mine has this one on sale on ebay if interested & I could deliver to Malvern

Hello Peter and welcome,
We did chat briefly at Toddington in 2007.
Perhaps you could create a new thread for your Alfa as its so rare I'm sure others would be interested, or at least bring it up the road to Evesham at Easter.
I got a request for vehicles the other day for Bishops Cleeve and some of our members will be going:

Bob has also purchased these railway carriages which look period. Possibly 1940's or earlier, but we think they were used for transporting cattle.
Salvaged from Long Masrton airfield we intend to use use them for housing displays, one will be used for the Morrison shelter display creating a dinning room environment with the other available to be used by a re-enactment group.
But as you can see they do need a fair amount of time & money spent on them.
