  1. i am not sure of the route david but i think men and machines start to gather around 9ish in s.e davis,s yard the route i am not quite sure but noramly finish up in a pub just out side alcester route is normaly well sign posted it is more of a tractor run but more and more comericials attend each year nick

  13. thanks andy ow thers still pleanty on the I WANT LIST but its more of a need than anything esle got a craveing for a constructor :cool2: but i rearly need some rally acomadation at the mo . got a nice hd camcorder tho perfect for filming scammell porn :cool2:

  15. just think how much work andy is goin to get done over the x mass holiday . now the paints drying and u can save all the left over wraping paper on x mass day and wrap daisy up ready for next year hats off to u tho mate, you will have one gd looking explorer when shes finished . nick

  17. the next pic is for rob as requested hub job as been put on hold for a while still having to much fun driveing around to start takeing things apart my welded hub nut not bad .but bad enough

  19. it didnot cost me anything to make so if it doesent work i shall scrap it and make another. but i am sure ill make it work some how nick
  20. still havent started the hub removal yet but i have been busy makeing a hub puller hope it works. i allso have the beingings of a hub spanner but that will get finished another day .
  21. i will give it ago and see wot happens . i am allso worried about the state of some of the wheel studs on that wheel aswell some of the threads seem to be damaged :shake: i bet explorer wheel studs are about as easy to find as lord lucan .

  23. i decided to take the hub cap off floyd today to make a start on the pending hub job . hub bolts came out realy nice, threads well oiled all was looking good . took the hub cab off and the first sight which greeted me was the dreaded blue silicone again . which on my explorer is a forwarning u are about to come across one of the previous owners bodges :argh: i cleaned the oil from the end of the nut and found which i expect will be the first of many bodges the hub nut has been welded to the shaft to act as a locking method . i think they went abit over the top with the weld and that they were not very good at it .i am not immpressed :argh::argh::argh::argh::argh:
  24. YEP thats the one andy will have to take the hub cap off floyd to use it as a pattern to make one of my own cheers andy
