i once again apologise for keeping a low profile these days i find my self with less time than i would like at the mo. floyd is well apart from a long developing air problem which as been diagnosed as the unloder valve being well and truly nackered . after trying to rebuild the thing severel times before i have had enough this time and it has been sent away along with another unloader which was lacking some parts to be rebuilt and tested , they went away on friday hopefully should have them back by tomorow lunch time . in other news i have finally finished the trailer project ,all blasted painted and looking rather nice in new coat of deep bronze green . shall be moving on to next project now which will be finding and fitting out a suitible cabin coms body to go on the back. first show is easter bank holiday i would like to think i would have a box on the trailer by then, but i doubt it . so here are a few pics of my shiny new trailer. wanted to go for a spin with it but no unloader valve ment that was a no no

i have been trying to upload this bloody video since last thursday . bloody youtube, any way floyd got called upon to go rescue one of my work mates from a sports field nothing like playing in an explorer and getting paid for it :-D Something went wrong...

i understand that most mk 3 atars where broken up but dous any one have any info of pic of this one 50 ek 63 ? i am asking because today i work freind of mine who on seeing my explorer in the work shop braught back memmories of his antar driving days he was in the 19th tank transporter sqaudren 1968 - 1971 i had a look around on the forum and found this pic that andy had poseted of his truck 50 ek 62 also now i have found another he was dead chuffed to see his truck again if only in pictures he sed it braught back many happy memories and wished he had stayd in the army longer . so if any one can shed some more light on this antar it will be welcommed as he has helpd trace parts for the explorer many a time thanks nick

thanks for the comments about trailer stability i have allready looking into modifiing the cross piviet by bolting some box section on to the stops much the same as mike did but if i bolt them on they can easily be romoved when needed . thanks nick

yes mate plan is for a small coms body on the back i have been sneeking around withams latly trying to find a nice one . i cant be doin with this tent buisness at my age :-D i want to do a few more miles this year with him

yes trailer will be goin back to deep bronze green in the next two weeks the paint arived today come to think of it , just got a few more bits to take off it first ahh hub seal well i am getting to that aahhhhhhhhhhh :blush:

i think its 3 working days notice must be given in a notification and one the notifactaion is in u can then ammend it to suit , notfication normaly gives route with all road names and numbers wheight of vehical axell wheigts hight width riged length drawbar spaceing axelspaceings ect no defined perporse needed 1791-1794.doc

i will have a look mike i mite go to stonliege on suday to have a look round i am goin to start striping the trailer for blasting and painting on sataday so i will take some pics show u how much space i have , the lights on one side or ok but the other side they are damages bigger lights souds like a gd idea tho . i have allready got some LED side lights to replace the reflectors down the side . and some white and red LED s to add to the front and rear of the trailer . i am goin with the be safe be seen thing . thanks mike nick wont bring a train down worry :-D could bring the big girder frame tho

hello all i have decided to to give the plains tour ago but i can only say i will try and make it with the scammell in case i have any problems in getting there or getting to time off . i rearly like the sound of the weekend espcialy the ride round the plains . hope fully i wont be needed to tow anybody in case of mechanical miss hap but would be happy to help if needed also with anything else over the weekend allways willing to help . thats if i can make it . that is but i am sure i will :-D nick
