  2. hi stu, i have been using Morris lubricants lead replacement additive, also available from jeep parts in my jeep for years, if i dont the needle sticks in the carb and floods all over the exhaust manifold :shocked: , i have also used Redex and had no problems with their products either regards graham

  7. my local tyre supplier, wealden tyres, has a machine that holds the wheel vertically and spins it slowly while an arm with a free wheeling steel dish that can move side ways and forward pushes in on the bead and forces the tyre off, it can get a 30/40yr old 11.00x20 off a Bedford RL rim in 2 mins, lovely bit of kit regards

  11. could someone enlighten me to A, how many rounds in the mag and B, why if there are more rounds in this type of mag why it was not more commonly found thanks very much :-D

  14. you will find some phillippino owners are data plate collectors and they also convert anything to fit when the original wears out, wait til your out there and you can see with your own eyes

  18. hi guys, the M35 jeep has nine data plates on the dash :wow:, i think the owner has a brass fetish. as for the ID on the chassis is that left hand as you sit in the jeep/british nearside ? regards
  19. hi stuart, i know about M38s and i asked my sister to look again and she insists its M35, model number TW340, serial number 10006 i will ask for some pics :-D regards
  20. evening all, i had a email from my sister in the phillippines, is there a willys M35 jeep ? is that the military CJ3 ? also is there any other serial number stamped anywhere on a WW2 jeep if the data plate on the dash is missing to verify the year of manufacture ? thanks in advance :-D regards
