  2. I know nothing about J60s . but if the spark doesnt work on this engine why would it work on a new install? I would look at the coil,ht leads distributer cap rotor arm and earths first

    Busy days changed brake flexi hoses nearly finished fluids .in the middle of the Hydraulics now cleaning the input screen filters. intersting damage on my front plate. The filler fell out and this is what remains.
  5. This is my mud flap and swim board. do you think its puka? Record card shows its first unit as 2RTR in 68 till july 70 when it joined the Queens Own Hussars.

    Been changing the oils this week. Well bevel gearboxes were ether empty or filled with yoghurt, transfer box was also yoghurty emulsified gloop ... Engine oil smelled of petrol . hope it appreciates the effort

  10. Likewise hardly earth shattering. Also could have been an hour long if they stopped recapping everything at every break. Didn't really achieve anything , found one ship wrongly identified but didn't find the real wreck.

  13. Any luck with this ? My Stollies were in the Queens own Hussars, 13/18 Hussars, 1 Royal Horse Artillery ,Queens Royal Irish Hussars,25 field regiment R A and 2 field regt RA. All B.A.O.R from 1968 to 1991 when they were stuck off. they appear to have no markings.

  16. Fill the tank with molasses and water mix leave for a couple of weeks . all the rust will be gone . 5 to 1 mix will passivate the inside about 10 to 1 is acceptable. Drop a fish tank heater in to help.

  20. Citric acid works faster than molasses, I am a big fan of molasses de-rusting.
