I recently bought this from an auto jumbler who bought it years ago from a military sale along with a lot of Jeep bits. He described it to me as a "radio cover". Does anyone recognise them shape of the canvas and know what it's for ? I comes with metal fittings etc all unused N.O.S.

Have you joined the MVT ? They will have a local group where you will meet like minded souls who share your passion. Well worth doing, the MVT is a great club and a wealth of information for military vehicle owners.

At our last MVT meeting the general consensus was that regulars were not going this year. I've never been so can't comment although most who have tell me it has lost the plot somewhat ?

I had similar problems with my WC52 when I took the rad off I could barely lift it ! Seventy plus years of silt meant it wasn't circulating. After that was done no more problems, I also run Water Wetter in my older vehicles, which lowers the temperature too.

Nice, we have a fox at the bottom of our garden too unfortunately he is four legged and eats our chickens Seriously though nice find, don't scrap it !
