  1. I insure with RH Specialist Insurance on 01277 206911 who advertises in most classic car mags and I believe one of the military mags, I insure my Chevy G-7107 cargo with them no problems and at a good price, they also insured my Ford GPW again at a decent price. They are great on the phone know what they are talking about and insure multiple vehicles on one policy, when I insured the Chevy they actually got its details up on the screen and knew exactly what it was and what it looked like, some insurers if you go beyond a Ford Escort have not got a clue what you are talking about, these are different and take the time to help. They also insure classic bikes and modern classics ie. series three landrovers etc. They also insured my Green Goddess a few years ago and at the time they were hard to insure when fully kitted. Hope that helps ?

  3. Welcome to the HMVF, I've got both a modern bike and a British classic and theres plenty of fun to be had on both, as for breaking down when/if that happens odds on you will be able to fix the Brit bike at the roadside but doubt the same goes for the Ducati Re-adjust your riding style and sit back and enjoy the scenery and forget about lap times !

  12. I know from years of driving landrovers that oil/grease on the inside of the front wheels usually means the front swivel seals have failed. Although as the vehicle is new to you there could be a chance they have been overfilled I suppose. Always check the cheapest solution first Someone on here will no doubt know more so stay positive
  13. If you can upload a picture of the dial I am sure if it is military someone on here will know what it is and help you. Warm welcome to the HMVF
