HHMMMMM do not agree with this, it seem more of a case of ....... money in short supply + [some areas of work in short supply] = high prices to compensate for the possible { lack } of work in the future...talking to some people in the building trade Ashley

Right `o The next few images shows some more vehicles including those which were the last to be recovered from the surrounding battlefield. The cromwell looks pretty complete on the exterior but as shown the interior is pretty well rusted in places. The second group of pictures go to show the `Home Front` aspect of holland to include different conflicts of other nations. enjoy Ps post war to follow soon ! Ashley

Mmm i realy don`t know, best ask the Dutch posse, but as the area is an ex battlefield i dont know how far they could expand if they wanted to. On site they do have Russian armour and a good display of cold war /soviet vehicles. I am afraid i am not in a position to answer your questions but i am sure thw Dutch guy`s may be able to help. sorry seemed to have slipped in a few forigners, cant think where the shot of the opel went, at one time museum staff were trying to replace the track on the panther by dragging it under the road wheels with a rachet strap attached tp the front sprocket :??? with the pressure exerted i am surprised it never pinged off causing some one a nasty injury:sweat::shake: Ashley

Not much in the way of Naval craft. The first is a miniture German(?) sub and the second is the type of boat the Dutch used to escape from the Germans to arrive in Britian Enjoy

Hi, according to Joris and Olaf all the vehicles (those seen here)are restored to running condition, but will probaly never move again though the engines are run occaisionly, there is evidence of oils etc on mats under the vehicles but unless you can get under the bonnets etc it is hard to tell. But in saying that if they are never to leave the museum maybe the the conpmponements may keep others mobile ? With reguards to expansion not to my knowledge ? though they have recently brought in the last remaining battlefield relics given them a cosmetic restoration. Ashley
