  2. Post puicces! Then we can really go to town. :-D If the Bodgedodge was an airfeild unit it wouild at least have a method of monitoring the aircraft surley? I don't know if ground control vehicles would actually be able to talk to the aircraft directly though. for some reason, at least on Dackotas, 48 volt and 120 volt DC are coming to mind.
  3. Short answer is no. The radios in aircraft would cover diffrent frequencies, use diffrent voltages and be diffrent sizes.
  4. True it wasn't running at the time. Unfortunatley it apper's the transfer box had gone.

  10. The last of the 101's the ambulances were cast 1999. Ambulances seem to last longer in service. By the by , anyone know what paint code A6 is?
  11. They were using three's and 101's possibly some early Wolfs. The 101 I know for definte as mine was with 4th Armoured out there, also Bosnia. that wa sthe last active deployment of the 101's. The 2a would have been used in Aden I suspect. 1971 would be very very late for a 2a.

One lovley girl turned to her friend and said 'What was that word he called you? 'W****R! -she said it so wistfully then added 'I wonder what it means?' I'm afraid at this point I was on the floor. :-D
