Finally, after 20 hours of driving, we have arrived in Deauville. The weather is beautiful as well as beaches, but the sea is freezing cold. Today we are resting after this long trip and tomorrow we will start wandering around. Jack, thank you, we will drop by. David Ives, we are almost neighbours

We are leaving tomorrow morning and will reach Normandy in Wednesday. Cannot wait anymore Jack, is it ok, if we come in your camp for a visit and chat?

If roads are closed so early, so we will have to be there at 7 am and then we will walk around and hitchhike someone on the beach (right, Tony B :-D) Does anyone knows, how is with parking spaces there?

Then we will probably see each other in Normandy next week I hope my car will survive this long trip, I've got nearly 1600 km to drive :-| Do anyone knows where Obama and Queen will come? And if anyone knows, will there be any special security (as closed roads)?

Hello Me and my girlfriend are comming to Normandy on the 3rd of June and we are staying in Deauville for a week and we are planning to wander around for whole week. Now, I want to ask you guys, what is worth to see in Normandy? We are planning to visit all beaches, as much museums and cities as we can. Where will be the main event on the 6th of June? Where are you planning to stay and what are you planning to visit? I hope we will meet somewhere and that I will be able to take some pictures of you and your vehicles I'll be the annoying one with the camera who will stock you around :cool2: I'm wondering if it's possible to join you for a day trip? Thank u all for such a nice welcome Thx for the tip Tony, now I know how to hunt u down :-) I will be that guy, who will follow u everywhere and taking shoots of u with camera or better, I can ambush u all, with stand of free beer I’m glad u liked Slovenia Chris. We are small, but we have mountains, plains and sea (if u can call it sea, it’s only 50km of coast). The Celica is great hostel, so they say. We have some military vehicles they really need love, but their owners don’t want to sell it, or have sky high prices. Bodge, I’m not drinking since new year so I think my kidneys will be ready any time now Do you need one?

Hi Sorry for so late introduction, I didn't have much time, and I was also busy reading all the topics and looking pictures of vehicles. And now a little bet about me. I'm Uroš, 25 years old, and I'm coming from Slovenia (very big country, who first finds it, gets beer in my local pub :beer:). I'm studying and working together so I don't have plenty of money. I was allways interested in everything connected with WW2, dunno why. This year I'm coming to Normandy for D-Day anniversary, to look and to slobber at all your fancy vehicles :-) I'm interested in Jimmy's, and my wish is to have one with winch and softcab.
