as a new boy to the mv side and with a military :police: landrover i was worried about joining a club but through this forum i was invited to attend a local group of military vehicle minded people i went along nervous thinking what am i doing but have now settled in with easy company and even though i have the newest mv everything else being pre 60's they dont mind me being with them and a few bevies and jd's later we are all the same :whistle: :whistle: some shows that they get invited to are for the older trucks but i accept that and join in when i can 8-) i have also met up with other members from this forum at various shows and have been welcomed :-D :-D a brew always helps the hardest bit i supose is talking to the other members at shows and if shy would be almost imposible

for nato paint try steve marsh c&s tat on emlra.com as he has the good paint that is where mine come from

i wouldnt have said that it was safe to tow a jimmy by the rear as there are more wheels at the rear for the weight the front wheels are mainly for steering with coaches are front suspended lifts due to the weight being too much for the shafts very rare you would see a coach lifted from the rear
