great weekend even despite the weather :-D not a lot of ww2 vehicles but the emlra was in abundance the fort brigade made me very welcome and friday night :whistle:12.30 :beer: even a camp meal was provided sat night by the organisers just like army food :banana: saw a few green hmvf sweatshirts as well even my 109 made it up there and back so see you all soon :thankyou:

the painting is usually done by squaddies on punishment as the paint stinks :evil: but can be brushed sprayed or rollered whichever you fancy doing

yes all paint is irr paint if you want to do it from the 80s

the best bet is emlra.com for a photo and the colours are nato green and matt black

you would probaly have noticed that the falklands conflict is more in the news this year as it was 25 years ago this year :-o :whistle:dosent seem like yesterday

well im hoping to drive up friday slowly and then go home by train and then pick up the family for sat then return sunday to collect the 109 if the landy breaks down then just me no family but does anyone from essex mind being a back up if i break down

very intersting weekend with quite a few vehicles present over the weekend ranging from a 2nd world war staff car through to heavy scammel recovery about 30 vehicles on site fri lovely weather. sat change but good. sun and mon rain rain and more rain :-D great for off road best bit was sat evening seeing a scammel on the tractor racing tack and even changing gear up when pulling the sledge :whistle: had a few look at my 109 and some good coments next weekend hadlow down so hopefully better weather :whistle:

well my present was a 9x9 tent for the landrover so wont be under the stars this weekend. having a drink tonight as not driving tommorow happy birhday mark
