i know it would of been nice to sort out exactly where he died but the only way to do that was to find out where the aid station was near the cemetary that he is buried in :computerterror:
just think if you had not rescued the stone it probably would of been broken up but through your efforts it will stand somewhere in tribute to a fallen comrade

some come up and ask about the current opportunities within the forces and what i can now do is show the recruitment dvd so i suppose you can call that recruitment
but i think i would end up under the re-enactor brigade as try to show what was going on and i am always dressed appropriately as not to shame the corps :police:
one thing that most people dont realise is there was always a brew available at our local spot. this was the easiest way to find out local Intel which is why if you meet me the first thing is would you like a brew :-D

come on andy  you can see the real thing during the summer as they are at fot, ringmer i think and ardingly if you want to see the harrisis trucks go to atfotf.com/forum as there are photo's of all their gear
:goodmorning:it worked :computerterror:so if you look ne of bepeume then you will find bungy on the road to campri at a cross roads it shows that the lines moved a great distance in the last month of the war
on a side note there was a program on channel 4 last night with ian hiscox called not forgotten and this was about the dead and the part women had to play and one mother from the cotswolds lost 5 sons so it takes our one part even further 8-)
you could always catch a train to dover and then go around the castle and the war tunnels underground in a day its a short walk from the train station or cheat and grab a ferry bus down to the docks and then walk up the hill or if into navel could get a national express coach or train to portsmouth and visit the dockyards
just been reading that they have restored a colossus
