  8. But what is it doing here under american vehicles then??? :-D Marty
  9. Oh my god, what have I started... :-D I think I just saw Jack lurking around outside my house. I think he's thirsty of revenge... If you don't see any posts from me soon, I'm afraid Jack has strangled me with his cushion or that my internet connection still is down. Marty
  10. I've been without internet connection since may 11th and it's getting on my nerves! And I won't be online again until the beginning of next week... But here's a few photos from Trandum. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1636.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1637.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1638.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1639.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1640.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1641.jpg[/img] Marty
  11. Can anyone tell me what kind of vehicle this is? Looks russian to me, but what would that do on army property in norway. Might be that we're updating our equipment though... ;-) http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1691.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1690.jpg[/img] Marty
  12. Jack as the founder of the order of the pink cushion has now bought a new car and repainted it to fit more to his style. As he comments to the local newspaper, "I never felt comfortable in green, so I decided it was time to come out of the closet..." http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1683.jpg[/img] http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/martylee74/IMG_1679.jpg[/img] We all wish him good luck... Marty
  13. That's good to know! Of course I'd prefer going there in the Dodge, but my neighbours jeep is faster than the Dodge. I'm also looking for a excuse to buy a Jeep, this just might be it! Marty
  14. This week there was a MV event at the old military camp at Trandum, Norway. This camp is located about 30 min outside Oslo. This is still military property, but every once in a while it is opened for us that share this green intrest. Ufortunately I have no internet connection at home at the moment, but I thouht I'd post some links to other sites with pics from this event. I'll post my own pics later, when Ventelo finally gets the line up again, which I hope they do today since it's already been two weeks since they disconnected it... Anyway, the weather was great and about 103 vehicles showed up. Among them halftracks, Universial carriers, Chaffee tank and Dodges. 15. Sounds like a a nice experience! Can we expect some pics? Marty
  16. I really have to agree with Joris, this is a great looking Dodge. Marty
  17. Thanks for the inspiration! After first seeing Jacks photos and now yours I know what I have to do. 1) Buy myself a Jeep 2) Persuade my neighbour to come with me to Normandie in his Jeep. Thanks again! Marty
  18. Thanks for posting these pics! By doing so you have answered one of my questions. I was wondering what it looks like in the area today. If it all looked new and modern I don't see any reason to go there, but I guess you just cost me a fortune... Marty
  19. Hi Jack! Shall we wait and see how it turns out first? If it goes well I'd be happy to help someone else along, and may be I'll write that article you mention. And as usual I'll probably flood you with photos... Thanks for showing interest! Marty
  20. Sh*t! I'm moving to a new computer now anyway, so I'll fix it when the moving is complete! Marty
  21. And I still look really handsome if I may say so myself! :-D The beret is a bit small though! Marty
  22. Just ordered the plans for the HMG. It'll be fun to see if it's hard to build myself the replica that I want. Thanks for helping me out! Marty
  23. This is why I like Holland and the dutch! You always seem to have a lot of fun whereever you go! I goota visit one of these shows some time! Marty
  24. I'm not sure where it is, but it says further down the side that it is in South-West UK and that the owner har warehouse with tanks and other military vehicles. Also says that the photos was taken a couple of years ago and that the place is closing down. Marty
  25. I found this a forum somewhere, was it here? Anyway I think it's worth posting again and it does have some relics... http://community.livejournal.com/abandonedplaces/532762.html Marty
