  1. Hi Willy, I have a few pictures, I'll e mail them to you. They were white inside, the tanks were not repainted inside, just touched up.
  2. Those are the standard late Sherman seat, D78351, not correct for Sexton.
  3. Seldom seen in the same sentence, that might be the flaw in the plan! :-D
  4. Something electric and hydraulic. I assume the left hand side should be at the bottom. There seems to be a hand operated hydraulic pump to one of the 'things' and the other has a possible power pump with a vent pipe. The electric unit looks very like an old isolator and star delta starter unit....
  5. Grey area? A Jeep is a load, very black and white.
  6. No, unladen means just that, unladen. Hire or reward, or 'in connection with trade or business', is a taxation and O licence issue.
  7. Many modern coils are designed for ballast resistor systems and are rated at 6-7 volts.
  8. I refer the learned gentleman to a previous comment of his ''with regard to the Cromwell breakdown on saturday we managed to find a decent driver today and it performed faultlessly :-D'' I take it he wasn't available yesterday! Hat off to you for posting that here.
  9. As long as the pump is toward the bottom, all bottle jacks work like that!
  10. All that matters is what the proof house are prepared to allow. They are guidelines after all!
  11. No Jack, it's ''lets have a look at your f***y''. Rick kindly let me drive it round the arena today. The arena needed to be bigger, then I could have got into 4th and it would have been better if it hadn't conked out in the arena entrance upon leaving! Sorry Rick!
  12. I think you are supposed to drill the item you are fitting the steel pins through before fixing and the pins are supposed to be hardened.
  13. Many dealers consider MVT membership to be a valid reason to purchase. I support that view.
  14. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/117802/deactivation-of-firearms-2010.pdf Page 31 covers launchers.
  15. Alastair, that track is the T66 single pin, all others were the typical double pin design. Both single and double pin continue to be used in various vehicles, not sure why. The HVSS is a better ride, though not substantially, it does have much lower ground pressure though!
  16. I think this all depends on what you go to the shows for. The average member of the public cannot tell a Tiger from a Transit and probably does not care whether the vehicle they look at is 'genuine' or not. For them variety, however real or otherwise makes the show more interesting. Living history does nothing for me but I know the public like it a lot, especially a good battle! I go to shows to see the vehicles, meet friends, buy stuff etc. I don't feel aggrieved if there is a fake vehicle, any UN marked vehicle (for example) is of little interest to me, but that's just me. It's a hobby , I am not on some crusade to make sure the public are educated and they certainly do not owe me a favour for showing my vehicle to them.
