  3. I did wonder if it might be a 5 at the start of it! The C9b has been taunting me for some time, I couldnt justify it to Mrs W though!
  4. There is one on Milweb at the moment, Z3812347, but Im not sure thats a kosher number, I thought the earliest ones started with Z580...

  6. Got mine reconditioned for about £200, pricey, but it had to be done.
  7. Great to have you on board, it will be interesting!!
  8. I always wondered why there were never any pics of the C8 in europe during WW2. Were most shipped to the East? There seems to be a few in Oz. Does anyone have any idea where there might be info as to where they were issued? I know of the C8 at Duxford as well, might be worth starting another thread to list the C8s we know of in the UK, just to get an idea.
  9. Welcome aboard, very nice looking vehicle you have there.
  10. Think its your connection.
  11. There are about 6 c8 owners on here. I dont know how many there are nationally. It seems to have a large following in Oz, I dont know if a large number were transported there.
  12. I dont think Morris ownership is very practical anyway is it!?
  13. A previous CS8 owner, welcome aboard!
  14. It looks like it should be the panelling for a compressor or generator?
  15. Good to hear from you again Jules. Met with Tobin the other day with his CDSW and UC. I take it you are busy de-rusting the Comet!
  16. Ive got no idea, what does the german translate to?
  17. Oh well, at least we are all here!
  18. Nice pics jack. you sure we dont need a "Then and Now" Section?
  19. None, as long as the balance machine has the adaptors, just the same as balancing "normal" wheels.
  20. We can balance split rims, bit far away from you though.
  21. Is it me or has anyone missed the fact that Tim, GWT has entered the 1,000 poster club?
  22. Bring on the rail forum! Wolverton Works made and repaired wings for Mosquitos and Hurricanes! So many railways now long gone ran from ammo dumps to the main lines, Yardley Chase springs to mind.
  23. That is 10 times better than my C8 when I got it. If you have got anything to learn from this forum its that, everyone is willing to help and offer advice, nothing is too big to take on.
