Possibly a blockage in one of the brake lines, change the hoses in case one of them is disintegrating internally, rebleed.

You think thats bad. I had a Ford Ka in today at work. No sills left on either side, and I mean nothing left. Totally rotted away. Chassis had completely rotted away near the suspension points. It was extremely dangerous and shouldnt have been on the road , yet it passed an MOT somewhere 3 weeks ago. Not by us I hasten to add. If only I had a camera there.

Ah, no, not that one. As you look at the engine side on with the manifolds in front of you, there on the far right hand manifold is a breather. The one for the valve chest cover goes into the manifold near the carb and is short. Doing this from memory so please excuse vagueness!

I have a breather/vacuum inlet or outlet piece on the manifold of my MB engine. Where does it run to?
