  3. Where do we need to look to find the engine and chassis numbers on a Dutch diesel Airportable Land- Rover please .
  4. Welcome to The Forum Bryan , enjoy .
  5. If you're going just to see the show what will you be towing the caravan with - you know there is a ban on trucks there , main reason I don't go these days as I tow the caravan with my pick up .
  6. Well..............at fifty quid a time that would be ................................:-D
  7. Congratulations and good luck JJ .
  8. Knowing a few Toosey locals any big cat daft enough to stray into that area won't last long......it'll either be shot and chucked in the freezer , or more likely mugged in a pretty short space of time . Another possibility of course is that the puma will get it .
  9. Must be I guess although the vehicle was in Dutch military service .
  10. My nephew has just acquired a Land Rover which has a sticker attached to the windscreen which refers to Operation Brave Lion (if I'm recalling correctly) . Anybody have any information on this ?
  11. Still ongoing . Family illness has meant there's been a bit of a hiatus .
  12. Was this being stored at West Bergholt ? If so it may have been sold at the weekend as Michael and Patrick had an auction to sell a large part of their collection along with several other vehicles entered by permission and one of those could have been this one . Didn't stay to see the actual sale so can't say what sold and what didn't .
  13. If you were after a Weasel there's one just come up on Milweb today . No price but sounds pretty good .
  14. Welcome to The Forum Rory . PM sent . What information are you looking for other than info leading to a find ? Further to Gordons post below . My ST goes on our plant trailer (which is somewhere around 12' long x 6' wide) easily - it projects over the sides by around an inch and a half and is an exact fit lengthwise and driving it on is nowhere near as terrifying as loading on to the original Snow Trac transport trailer which was the exact size of the vehicles footprint . In standard form it has the industrial version of the VW boxer four driving through the VW bus gearbox so economy is pretty good for this type of vehicle and the roof escape hatch on mine just scrapes under the up and over garage door(providing I remember to take the beacon off the roof as well !) so storage is not much of a problem either . Any questions , just ask away . Oh yes..............they're huge amounts of fun too.....:-D
  15. Welcome to The Forum . We have a Munga 8 - in bits in the workshop right now but we're hoping to get it to Damyns Hall next weekend along with the Gaz66 . Might not be close enough for you - the East Anglian Fighting vehicles Group is based in North East Essex / Suffolk borders and we meet up in Colchester once a month as well as at the local shows etc .
  16. The May family are hoping to be there with Gaz66 and Munga 8...........hopefully !
  17. Think it might be operating system related - found that it worked fine when I tried the laptop last night but still won't open here on the desktop . Problem resolved anyway as my wife has downloaded it at work this morning .
  18. Just tried to get an entry form myself and the site is still not working . Not helpful .
  19. We're hoping to be at Muckleburgh next weekend Peter.......it's actually Yvonne's siginificant birthday that we're going away to that part of the world for but she's going to let me out to play too ! I'll try to remember to check theirs for you .
  20. Excellent news that man , congratulations and very very best wishes to you all from us here in Essex .
