  8. [quote name=g0ozs;356349 What has caught me out - with audio compatible plugs on usually male both ends cables - is ones intended only to power ancilliary and test equipment from a headphone socket. These only have the ground and power pins connected and there was one with every test set condition' date=' test set audio, and probably other test sets as well. Next time I find one by accident I should make a note of the NSN ! Regards Iain 73 de G0OZS I'll sort you out with one set of numbers and I have a pile as well :-(

  13. I remember a cracker (not for him) a colleague was cleaning a printing tower down in preparation for changing one colour of ink to another, the top roller fed ink through a duct. It was normal practice to clean the roller on the duct with a cleaning liquid whilst the the printing tower was running obviously you wore gloves and used a rag to clean the roller. With the tower running he caught his hand on a rotating rubber roller which dragged his marigold gloved hand almost into the rollers. Luckily for him he pulled his hand away but not before it took the skin of his palm and I do mean the whole palm of his hand. Not pretty I was the first aider that had to wrap his hand up for trip down to A & E. They fitted more guards to the press after this. Respect machinery
  14. Most seven pin plugs are the same (male and female) and follow the same profile as the headsets and ptt's but I have seen a few odd ones that have different keysways or profiles.
  15. Have a look at the 2006 pictures of the guy in a pit digging underneath a boulder being held up by two slim pieces of wood. :wow:
  16. I think you will be lucky to find the right FV cables it might be a case of buying what you can and shortening longer cables to fit tidily. I think you might need three power cables one for the IB2 and one each for the 353's.
  17. Good luck not to many MK 4's about parts r a touch harder to find but I'll bet if you buy it the parts will appear or you will be range hopping to find the bits.
