    as grit says less than 30 metres open on twosides no plan permission needed . i rekon about 280 quid all in.

    its going to stand a bit away from the house approx 16 by 10 ft so lookii ng at 6 2.4m posts 100mm square , concreted post supports , inch by 6 boards around perimeter then 2 inch by 5 ish roof supports plastic roof on top hope it will look better than it sounds ! it will be home for the mk1/2 ./

    not to bad fairly sheltered footprint can be up to 6m b y 3.5 m its a old house so looking at temp solution till funds avaible for one of those oak framed garage type things .

    hi mark, some mk1,s had a mounting for a bren at drivers l/h side , plus a very pistol there was a blk thermos on ebay recently for a ferret went for about twenty pounds.

    another thing any aviation mech knows to wait at least 5 mins before touching ignition system and then disconnect l.t side of the ignitor boxs etc. so it was his fault he got a shock not a fault of the apu.( for fun look up pulse jet on u tube ).

    i would say the people at teeside were a bit cheeky its a gas turbine engine designed to out electricity and air thats it ,as for calling the police way over the top.

    i must admit i am leaning towards getting a mot on it any know any hmv friendly ones around gatwick area ?

    hope you can give me some advice, road registering a mk 1/2 ferret d.i.s jan 1964 form vg112g would exemption no be 14 ?( for display), would be straight fwd if pre 1960. or would it be better to get a mot class7 ? any ideas much appreciated.

    try locktite metalset. can be drilled tapped etc when cured , rs components stock it.
