  2. between visits forum does not remember me , put in user name and comes up invalid attempt you used 1out of 5 lives etc so having to reset password route every time.
  3. standing by to be corrected ,the way i understand it is v55/5 will give a age related plate,have letter from tank museum and dating letter from imps,to confirm date in service 1964 .,they might send inspector to actually see mv exists ,have got insurance in place , then when i have v5 in my mitts down to post office with relevant docs and form v112g that i declare that mv is mot exempt,agree that mv must be kept in roadworthy condition. vertical learning curve for me at moment!.
  4. oh yes , like a previous poster said it really pays to know the ins and out of the process thats why for me who is just getting started in the mv ownership world this forum is a great place to ask these questions.
  5. my letter from vosa says use v112g as it applys to goods vehicles and vehicles outside scope of 1988 regs ferret = motor tractor !
  6. dont think a ferret a ferret has chassis number ,have got letter from vosa saying it is classed as a motor tractor therefore mot exempt . all good learning curve .
  7. hi yes have got letter from tank museum dis jan 64 have used adrian flux insurance insured it under mil reg for now, they had breakdown at 35 quid for a year! 130 all in. seemed fair they were all coming in about 95 to a 100 £.
  8. by the way dont use carol nash insurance as they will not issue insurance without licence plate number no good if mv is not yet registered for road ! ( muppets )>
  9. just got thru to brighton office sending me 2 v55/5 forms now sorting out insurance under build no can change this once got age related number plate.
  10. in what order do i need to fill out dvla forms , what is the first one to fill out please.

  12. large crane at nose of aircraft very large wide strops around nose find balencing point with crane remove snow slowly lower crane job done or wait for thaw and watch it sort its self out.

    got in at 3.30 last night spent 5 hours getting aircraft out of the hangar, on to a snow and ice covered pan ,then today digging post holes for the car port the ferret will have a home!.
  17. bought a anti freeze tester from halfords 4 quid
  18. plus anti freeze has anti corrosion properties.
  19. my grandad first world war in the trenches , never ever spoke about it , sam skinner hero .
  20. will post a pic of completed mv port not sure if going to dig holes for posts in a foot of snow though !
  21. where did u get one from and how much?
  22. what with this cold weather and all, any one having a nagging doubt re. anti-freeze in there mv.?
  23. am using clear pvc corrugated sheeting for roof she who must be obeyed did not like the idea of a tarp.!
