    me old fruit just cause its cheap does not mean its not good unlike putting dishwasher cleaner in your mv! for best antifreeze protection a 70 percent antifreeze /water is ideal, increasing level of anti freeze above that will raise freezing point of mix considerably this applies to mono ethylene glycol.

    why would anyone take the risk of using any of the above and not use a propriety rad flush???? thought dish washer cleaner has salt in it for example!

    well richard according to workshop manual for b range petrol engines tsd publication 702 torque range is 400- 425 inch pounds or 33 foot pounds to 35 foot pounds ,tricky thing torque!

    caddy if u are using needle guns with vib levels of 12.3m/s2 no wonder u dont like em! quite easy to find ones that have levels more around 3m/s2

    all these exposure levels are more related to long term exposure not one person taking paint/ rust off their mv re. needle gun hearing protection earplugs in then ear defenders over the top thick gloves help reduce vibs and keep your hands warm cause the guns run cool with all that air going thru em ! when i restored my ferret machine mart needle gun was a god send ,nitromors and similar horrible stuff.

    no i said carefully use stnd torque settings ie carefully! the problem with telling people to use* feel* when torquing up is one persons 10 foot pounds of torque is another persons 18 foot pounds etc remember all the problems the hillman imp had when it first came out and garage mechanics were doing things up by feel!! if it helps B series head torques are 400 hundred to 425 inch pounds , for pounds foot divide by 12 .

    in that case carefully use standard torque for those size cyl head bolts

    should have l4a4 on it or a close variant of that think i am right in saying L4a4 were all mk3 brens cost about a grand plus ,unless your lucky like me!!!!!!!!:cool2: presume u r after a bren converted to 7.62 by the brits, rather than a fn fal?( check out thread entitled * lmg bren*
