I have just tried to speak to the head stuffer, about cushions, only to be told that he was bathing, before donning his stripey pajamas :whistle: :shake:, that coordinate with his cushion comforter :-D Then sitting down to enjoy a good film with teddy and some horlicks......   6. Hi Guys Sad I had to miss, Spent yesterday at Neatheravon ( Army parachute association), with a 75 year veteran, who jumped tandem, from 12,000 ft !! He is like a dog with two d**cks :-D we were delayed until 17.00 due to cloud base and I had to stand down, but he was pushed up the line luckily :roll: So by the time I got home..... Does one draw any conclusion about Jimmy owners and their persausions from this considering, our leaders pink booster cushion for his Jimmy, now here's the real reason why I will never stray to the dark (pink) side.   15. Went up there 20 yr ago, and tabbed quite a lot of the area awesome, some of the hills really pull hard, real chinstrappers :schocked: This was in summertime dread to think what it's like in winter... Beautiful area The statue is quite a memorial to a remarkable group of men. Hardyferret

  20. Paul, it would appear that bbq paint gives a good finish, proper blue or blacking is quite involved, and the finish you start off with, on the bare metal is what you see once blacked. So if I were you look into the bbq paint!!!! As for the wood, sand choice yours poss satin varnish would stay clean, and not stain, or your local gunsmith for some stock oil, or one of the Deks oil type products used on boats or leave it's original patina :whistle: :whistle: HF ;-)
  21. So this is a battery and used somehow on, or with a missile of sorts, but why would you want a chargeable battery for a missile? Is it used on poss the sighting equipt? Or does it actually go on the missile and the charge facility to ensure full power when reqd by trickle charge? HF :? :? :? :banana:
  22. I read they are going to produce, a new 'Dam Busters', in the same article concern was voiced over Guy Gibson's dog and the callsign for the dam breaching.
