  14. When \I still worked for someone, it never ceased to amaze me how low bosses could go... I still reckon bosses and nappies are the same full of sh*t and hanging round your arse. Even after 6 years the memory of the day I handed in my notice, and had that chance to point out what a fatherless fornicating primate he was, still makes me smile :-D :-D  Is there a course these people attend, as they seem to have all the man management skills of Atilla the Hun. As a junior NCO we had to attend a cadre to train us how to lead our men... This was at Brecon, on entering the lecture theatre, there written on the board, was the following. It is a big man that makes the little man feel small It is a great man that makes the little man feel big The Wo1 who was instructing said to us all ' if you learn b-gg-r all else, at least remember this' God I am glad I work for myself :schocked: And in this day and age of pc and the rest of the c-ap, these employers still think they can behave like this :-( Come the revolution  Comerade brother Hardy pigging-ferret

Compressor world is busy, lots of servicing and sales, pays for the green machines :-D The Ferret and the Pig looking good, will have to terrorise our local town Wareham, with the Pig, poss on a Sat, as there is a local produce market. Well it's a local Pig, and far better looking than the grumpy one that enforces local justice  Anyway, if anyone has a few hours they don't need, please post to Hardyferret 3rd secure padded block The wibble wibble farm over the hill and far away Dorset Regards to you all   :yay:
  17. Sounds good will check with Mrs HF Hardyferret ' Bow you pheasants in the presence of perfection' :-D :-D
  18. Clive, here's the problem.. It is a Rover 1 GS so would originally had a dynamo. In the interests of having a battery that is actually charged have gone for a Lucas alternator, 16 ACR i think. This alternator came off a series 3 GS, and has twin belt pulley,as does the water pump and crank pulley. When I got the Rover in had a tastefully fitted alternator of unknown make(Jap??) with the normal misaligned bodge bracket!! And using just one belt! So what set do you reckon? The 554389 at 41" sound right I think, and are near to what I reckoned :-D Regards HF :? :? :? only Solihull come have this many choices !!
  19. Iam soon to get my commision, Please I don't want to be a rupert :-(, Wo1 or 2 I'll perform as well as Brittain or Lynch :-D I want to stay with my men, not poncing in the mess with double barrelled super ruperts, you know Field marshall, order of the knights queer garter ribbon and bar Sir Jack farquhar-beckettson going on about national service, and that jolly girlie down straite street in Malta on the way to Malaya....... :banme: :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D HF

  21. Thanks Clive, I think the last on might be it, as the first is too short 2nd too long. I approximate about 42/42" possibly. Regards HF
  22. And you said " don't worry it's nothing" I feel mortified, cut to the core. :oops2: How does anyone redress such a situation, as I found no answer in my book of modern etiquette. Can I ever show my face, in our social circles ?? Or me thinks Jack, might be playing up (tarticus vulgarus) Hardyferret     :yay:
  23. I think in the past, I have said how our pc politicians, would like to sweep under the carpet the truth of our history, and enable some members of the so called European union to forget their crimes. Bomber command took the war back to the agressors, when no other service was able to stirke, and showed the world Great Britain was still fighting back against evil. A petition for recognition which is 52 years overdue Hardyferret
  24. Hi all, Can anyone advise on what is a good buy?? as I am well confused by the choice!!! in a pickle Hardyferret :-D :-D
