  1. I have never heard of a new 60 mm Mortar. The tool was rusty when I discovered it a few days ago so its not new.
  2. On this item are the words; FUZE SETTER HAND L3A1. What shell would be set by this tool ?
  3. Due to project arriving shortly my Pig is for sale. It has not been finished but is OK. The engine starts easily, clutch works fine, full of antifreeze but the fuel system needs work, the r/h tank is off. Also there is no hydraulic brakes but the handbrake is fine,. The body/hull has had sandblasting and painting but the interior silver needs painting. There are some lights, vision blocks, h/light mesh and the rear lower apron armour. Finally the four wings have been remanufactured, they are a splendid job slightly thicker metal than the original. If of interest please PM me. £6,000.
  4. Due to an impending project arriving the Pig is now for sale. I will put it in HMVF classifieds shortly.
  5. I have also looked on the site and I am confused as to why I reported the 22%, I am at a loss as to why I put it on the Forum, perhaps its time to give up and just mould away.....
  6. If anyone is thinking of making a purchase note that the buyers commission is 22% + VAT which is a little on the high side........
  7. That track will be of use to some one, its possibly a Centaur, Cavalier or Cromwell.
  8. Clive, the scuttle arrangement is welded in place so...........
  9. Here is a pic as requested, its work in progress at the moment.
  10. Thank you Clive I can now tell when asked the question 'how old is ?' As regards the number plate, it is in fact corroded steel. Being a front one I have only seen front VRN's painted on the hull and never as an individual plate. Peakrec, It is a little better than the plate..........
  11. I will try them all, thank you chaps......
  12. One for Clive. I recently purchased a Humber Pig with what I think is the VRN; 05 EK 41, any information about it please ?
  13. Could someone give me some advice please? I have a Solex 30VBFD from a 1936 Commer N1 and need either a kit or the carb refurbished. I have tried the Carburettor Hospital but no one answers the phone and a negative reply from Gower and Lee. Could anyone recommend a carb specialist ? Thanks, Bob
  14. BTW this took place 3 or 4 years ago......
  15. A 1951 Technical Handbook for the Series 1 Land Rover, in very good nick.....£20 plus a donation to the postal carrier which at the moment I do not know.
  16. I do not follow the cause of religion but in a well know book I believe it states; 'Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do'.......
  17. John The view was to the rear left. It has gone to the USA now but I am reasonably sure that there was no storage for the rounds inside the tractor Bob
  18. Children under 18 ! I had been working for 3 years then. Also what is the world coming to that such draconian requirements are put in place............
  19. OK, but are you sure that you can afford them, perhaps you should take financial advice......
  20. I really don't want to put this lot in the skip, but I can't keep everything. So how about £20 instead of the outrageous £70.
  21. Thank you Richard, It has now been purchased by the American and being sent to me so I can include it with the next consignment. Excellent, job done!
