Hi All, An update on this year's show.A full scale stone build bridge has just been completed along with several full scale mock houses all this will form the basis of a French Normandy town.All this will set the scence for this year's battle reanactment on a big scale.Along with several live 25lb field guns & ww2 tanks/halftracks in action as part of the battle.We now have nearly 200 vehicles booked in.So if you haven't booked in and wish to visit www.ponderosa-warweekend.co.uk cheer's stu
  3. Hat's off to the organiser's cracking show good turn out of vehicle's as always.Some very good living history groups this year.I really enjoyed the road run out to melbourne airfield,good to see the restoration of it's control tower.Roll on next year.

Hi Bazz, I don't think you'll be disapointed there's 155 vehicles booked in so far 39 ww2 British which is a good amount for any show also several ww2 tanks & assorted armoured vehicle's.Toped with one of the biggest ww2 reenactment battle's in the North of England.Hope to see you their mate. cheer's stu

Hi Rick, We've now got 137 vehicle's booked in so far mainly wartime, inc five ww2 tanks plus 16 living history groups.Not bad since most people have never heard of Ponderosa.All that plus the biggest recreation of a ww2 battle in the North of England. There's now 132 vehicles booked in to the Ponderosa war weekend along with 16 reenactment groups so far www.ponderosa-centre.co.uk many thanks to all the vehicle owner's & reenactment groups that have booked in. The BBMF flypast is now confirmed,which is great news,the re-enactment battle will be i believe the biggest ever held in the North of England with firing 25lb field gun's & ww2 tanks taking part in the battle.A mock up bombed out town will be built as part of the battle making it alot more realistic more on that later.The battles will be held on both day's.All vehicles must book in,there's entertainment through out the day & night.So if you would like a application form pm me with your name & full address or email me at stuart.wright@hotmail.co.uk cheer's Stu

Hi All, If you haven't booked for the Ponderosa war weekend & wish to go (PLEASE fill out an application form ASAP)These can be down loaded on the Yorkshire MVT website or Pm me or phone 07748604461 and i can post one OR fill one out over the phone. At the current rate the application forms are coming in, where going to get pretty full soon.We do have other space available but it's away from the main site approx (500-600yds).
