Hi All,as we've got so much artillery booked into the show,we've decided to do a special arena event (Moving the guns). ie we have a ww2 jeep with a 37mm anti tank gun,Quad limber & 25 pounder,Bren carrier & 6 pounder,Matador & 5.5" and some other bigger quest's !!.So where now looking for anymore combination's ? Well you could say that.I was the main organiser of the show for two year's.Along with Debbie who was the manager at that time.Ken was instrumental like so many others in giving up so many weekends building up to the show.All of us had the same common goal,to put on a great event in Yorkshire which I believe we achieved.Debbie along with myself & Ken,will hopefully put on a cracking show in the North once again.With the help of military vehicle owner's etc etc.We can do alot with 30acres of land Inc woods & a stream not to mention it's only a couple of miles off Jun26 off the M62 motorway. Well put ken.That's one season why i'm know longer involved in organising this year's Ponderosa Show.On another note the 69th field Reg re-enactment group, with there live firing 25 pounder's plus Quads & limber's are attending this year's show.I believe there bringing four 25 pounder's along with a 5.5" howitzer & for the first time there 3.7" ACK ACk gun.Now that's a big gun. Well so far we have 77 confirmed vehicles booked in.Well Ken's bringing 20 of his LOl plus 19 reenactment groups.I suppose it's not everyday you get 42acres of land to play with,30 of which will be turned into a battlefield. Regards Stu

Hi All, Myself & Ken Pugh are together involved in this brand new event.The event itself is 1 mile off Jun 26 of the M62 motorway,it's set in 40acres of land and has great potential to be the biggest Northern wartime experience event.There will be a large reenactment battle on both the Sat & Sun,Tank's in action & firing display's with the 25 pounder field gun's.We already have several ww2 Tank's/armoured vehicles & wheeled vehicles booked in inc several re-enactment groups & several live firing 25 pounder's.The event is OPEN TO ALL military vehicles so from WW1-modern vehicles your more than welcome at this new event.There's onsite camping available day/night time entertainment full lienced bar/food militaria/trade stall's etc etc.There's potential for most if not all re-enactment group's to dig in & probably the biggest tank/armoured vehicle driving coarse at any event in England.More info to follow inc our NEW website interested parties please contact me on stuart.wright@hotmail.co.uk or ken.pugh@pks-ltd.co.uk All vehicles/groups MUST book in.
