  2. Hi John/Antar, Please explain wot "you clearly are not in the picture regarding this event" is all about!! I went last year speaking for myself only, it was the best biggest organised convoy with crowds to match iv'e ever been on.Hence i'll be trying to bring all my vehicles this year.

  5. With so much interest from tank/AFV owner's this year,we've decided to build a tank/AFV driving coarse for more modern as well as ww2 tanks/AFV's.This will only be available to vehicle booking in only, and will be limited for safety reasons.Please pm me further details. Stu

Can't wait to see both tanks at Ponderosa in July, so far iv'e had enquire's from six other tank owner's four of which have booked in.In fact the owner of Ponderosa is building a large tank coarse on his land for this year's show.If i can help with the nut's & bolt's Ken let me know.Glad to see the sherman is coming together.   12. Hi all, Just had an email today regarding date's for the show, so just to clarify.The date's are the 8/9/10th of July 2011. The 8th is NOT a public day just for vehicle owner's/re-enactment group's etc,to set up as from 2pm on the Friday.And yes theirs FREE camping,free pack lunche's will be given out on the sat/sun only to vehicle owner's/re-enactment groups who BOOK in only.Please feel free to look on the Yorkshire MVT website click (show reports) for a full report on this year's show. Hi all, Iv'e been reading this thread with some interest,as i and the staff at Ponderosa www.ponderosa-centre.co.uk have began a new event in the North of England.The Ponderosa war weekend dates set for the 8/9/10th of July 2011,please google the Yorkshire MVT website click on events for this year's report or read Novembers issue (114) of the Classic military vehicle magazine. Hi the Vicker's utility tractor advertised on milweb belongs to a very good friend of mine.Iv'e seen this tractor several times it's virtualy 95% original,according to the tank museum who i believe have asked if there's any chance of a loan.Stated it will be the only original recorded running example in the world That's wot i call unique.Yes it is British and not Belgian and yes it came from France a few year's ago complete with original data plate,engine,tracks wheels body etc.The original engine is now being restored.

Many thanks for posting this up for me Ken,new to next year's show is a coarse for all you Tank/armoured buffs.The main battles are alot bigger for 2011 using the hole of the top field,alot more piros etc.I'm looking for more living history groups to join us next year as the standard of the group's this year was superb. cheer's guys stu
