  1. Convert it to a jpg. Open in whatever image viewer you have, and go to File > Save as and select *.jpg Chris
  2. This would be a major project. Not only is the gearbox highly modified, but the fan, dash, bulkhead, top deck, louvres, exhaust, air intake etc are all different and that's before you look at the fuel system. For sure it can be done, someone else besides Andrew Baker has done it. You won't believe how expensive the bits are.
  3. Clive, I like these connectors too, I have them fitted to the M151. It makes it easy to disconnect the batteries and remove the jumper lead - saves them going flat in the garage when I leave the switch on, and makes it a bit harder to steal at a show. Chris
  4. Jon, Are you sure that is light stone and black? It looks like very faded Nato Green to me. Chris
  5. The 4BA cheese heads are the bolts holding the wire terminals to the switch.
  6. You can get anything for a B80, from a reconditioned engine to a new block or head. The problem is the price, not finding them! I would start here first: http://www.milweb.net/go/banister/ Chris
  7. Robin, I had heard about these a while ago, but this is the first photo I've seen. I wonder how long they'll keep them! Chris
  8. I heard they were using some new manufacture hulls for these.
  9. Neil, I think you have to accept that the cost will be whatever it will be at the time. Chris
  10. Get yourself a copy of this book... http://www.ianallanpublishing.com/british-infantry-brigade-berlin-tankograd-british-special-no-9001.html There are pictures of Foxes in there, can't remember if they are in the Berlin colour scheme but will check later.
  11. If the army place near Derby is Anchor at Ripley, then I'm not surprised the green was rubbish. I used that paint for a Spartan... never again! It's expensive and poor quality, after a few weeks in the rain the paint stained heavily where the water was running off the vehicle and it needs to be painted again. I now get my paint from http://www.crosbie-casco.co.uk/crosbie/home.htm The best option is to spray it with a cheap compressor.
  12. Last year I had 2 Sabres moved by these guys on a weekend for a reasonable rate. They used to be based in Luton, so if they can't help they may know someone who can. Ask for Terry. 13. Where did the green paint come from? Sounds like you were using a foam roller?
  14. Get a cheap electric sander and plenty of sanding pads from ebay. Give it a good rub down and try again with a roller for the green. I sometimes use rattle cans of matt black for doing the camo, usually just marking out but they can be used with good effect to paint the whole thing. Remember 2/3 green 1/3 black. Chris
  15. Depends on the vehicle, usually at least 4.
  16. I think we are more worried about his wheels & tracks coming off!
  17. The sand colour is BS381C shade 361 light stone. I am sure Marcus will be able to supply it. Do you have any photos of Foxes in that scheme? Chris
  18. Not big enough for either, besides there is a specific bracket for that on the drivers left hand side.
  19. FV688415 - LV9CVW/2540-99-821-5684 - Box, Stowage, Vehicular Accessories. This fits on the panel infront of the fuel tank besdie the drivers right shoulder in Fox. As to contents - it's shown in the stowage sketch I have, but the contents aren't listed.
  20. I have some original NOS user handbooks for sale. PM me if interested. Chrs
  21. http://translate.google.com/
  22. You will also find most of the engines for sale, especially in the tender sales, will have something wrong with them.
  23. I have heard stories of squaddies driving off cliffs etc in CVRTs because they changed gear part way round a corner, the radius of the turn changed and they went over the edge.
