  2. Hi Degsy, thanks for that I am looking at one thats for sale on the Isle of White, So I can take the Polsten to shows and just wanted to know if it would fit in the storage (not that thats ever stopped me), its either that or an Austin K4 in Owestrey. Thanks. Tyler.
  3. Hi, can anyone tell me the height of one of these with the roof up, how wide, also what they like to live with, and finally if anyone is selling one. Thanks. Tyler.
  4. Those vehicles make a very intresting collection, its just a shame that there arnt more about, Ive seen Duxfords FWD "its very dusty", and your Jeep I like very much as its a change from the majority of those out there. Tyler.
  5. Hi all, Mick I didn't know I had reached that rank but if you want to call me that who am I to turn down a promotion  , "oh me good with computers" no no I,m rubbish thats why I'm getting a firm in Huntingdon to do the final design of the badge once the name has been picked. Tyler.
  6. This is what we've had so far: Dirty Dozen EMVC = Eastern Military Vehicle Club. EMVG = Eastern Military Vehicle Group. MEGA's = middle eastern green and sand Eastern Bloc Heads EMMA = Eastern Military Machines Association Ive noticed some comments such as "I've been trying to think of a name for an Eastern MV Group" etc, that could be the very answer to the clubs name, I think the saying goes "It does exactly what it says on the tin". The "Dirty Dozen" is a play on words in that your usually getting dirty when working on the MVs, the group started out with a dozen members, that the name would emphisise a welcoming /relaxed people by not sounding too formal, thus hopefully encoraging young people to get into the hobby etc etc. Hope this helps. Thanks. Tyler.
  7. Hi Rob, welcome and hope you enjoy the site. Tyler.

Tyler.
  11. Hi Mick + Richard and anyonelse, I think secretary is'nt a very Military word, I prefere the word boss, but if you like the word secretary I am sure Richard would'nt mind you having that title  As for you Richard your selling your Zil so once that had gone we'd only have one Eastern Bloc MV  Or is that so you have a reason to keep the beast  . Anyway Ive found a place that will computerise the club badge/emblem and will make the stickers etc. Tyler.

  14. Of coarse Egg, Ingredients/Directions: Take one Rad with leak. Pull over. Allow engine to cool. Once cooled sufficiently, slowly open Rad cap. Crack one Egg into Rad filler neck. Refit Rad cap. Run said vehicle until leak stops. Drive onto desination. Hope this helps all you budding chefs. Tyler Binge (Head chef)
  15. Hi Richard G, have you taken it for a run yet? To see if you've cured the leak. Tyler.
  16. Hi, when we go out we usually just take the basics like jump leads, water, points/plugs/leads, spaners etc, Radweld (or an egg). And most of all keep it in Tip Top running condition and just check it over regularly. Tyler.
  17. Hi Paul, Good luck in finding a new job, Ive been out of work for 7 months, its also a "Catch 22", you've all the time in the world to work on your vehicles, but no money. Anyway good luck finding a good job. Tyler.

  21. Hi, Im still working on the club idea, just got to get a logo/emblem made up, pic a name and we'll be off, so far Ive found 7 people who are up for it with roughly 14 MV's, so I'll get me arse in gear and have it done by March that,s a promise, we'll have: a list of show dates+contacts / local attractions newsletter (postal/email), once we reach a good number of members (every 3 months) list of MV's in the club (in the newsletter) local suppliers e.t.c. (in the newsletter) Classifieds (in the newsletter) group show/s road runs+meet up's window stickers/magnetic stickers/flags e.t.c. Plus anything else we can think of. Tyler.
  22. Hi, well done Jack, I look forward to reading your articals, keep up the good work. Tyler.
  23. You said it Jack, I am suprised more owners club websites havent done those maps as there quite interesting to see where the vehicles have ended up. Tyler.
  24. Hi Arthur, its good to hear your enjoying the site. Tyler.
  25. Hi Jack, I sometimes do it, as it helps slow engine wear because it allows the oils to warm and become more fluid which then means it can lubericate the engine better before the engine has to work hard e.g. (having to move the vehicle), also to warm the gearbox oil which makes changing gear easier and better. Hope this helps. Tyler.
