Thats a nice landy, canvas looks very good, at least it fits better than mine by a long way, and mines only two years old and the sides look like wedges, so I just leave it rolled up, anyway what collours will you paint it in? all you need is two stretchers and some dummys and it'll look the part.

So you get the Landy tomorro, bet you'll be tinkering on it as soon as you get it, when i got the Shorland I was taking it to bit before the lorry had left the drive, there just so easy to work on just like a big muckano set, and parts are so cheep and easy to get, is it tax exempt?

Hi up until July this year, i used to work on little staughton airfeild on the cambridgshire bedfordshire boarders, and its non opperational now but is said to be the most complete ww2 airfeild left in existance yet there is no preservation group, the control tower is still there including the air raid siren and becons, i have a few relics from it such as complete runway taxi lights, which there are still many left, i found a creat of WW2 maintinance tools in a wooded area, i can post more info if any ones intrested along with some pics of the control tower.

Ah I see you must be getting the christmas cheer already, I hope you havent had it as long as the shops have (3 months already) next year they'll have it by the end of summer, of coarse if you want to do a poll, just for me who am i to say no to sum blatant boasting, I'm sure lots of people have got more than me, you could end up with a lot of polls.

Hi, wot condition is it in? is it a soft top? one peice of advice i fitted a stainless exhaust/webber carb and changed the points,plugs+leads, and adjusted the tappets and it does 27mpg which is excellent considering the buying guides quote 17-22mpg MAX, and all that would cost £200 or less, i can give you the suppliers details if you want.

Hi can anyone tell me, when you register a vehicle at the local Dvla office do you just tell them the weight of the vehicle, or do you have to prove it by showing them a weigh bridge certificate? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me where they served? by that I would like to know whether they served in the Milddle East as I,d like to paint it in the sand and green camo colours, I have seen a pic of one in this colour scheme, but it looks like a post service shot, also would anyone be intrested in a Shorland restoration topic in this section as Ive just started one.

Cor someone else who started young finaly, same age as when i got mine, I'd say thats a good joint record to hold, can anyone else beat it though, mind Im only 20 so i still pay quite a bit for insurance mind thats only for another 6 mounths and I'll get it for around £85, thank god for Roadsure.
