  1. Can anyone answer the following: *Are the shocks standard or heavy duty? *Are the rad hoses on the 2.6Ltr engine in the Shorland the same as the hoses in a standard 2.6 landy? *Are the front rubber brake hoses the same as on a standard LWB landy? *What engine/gbox/diff oil should i use? *Is there a book with all the details about the engine in it (e.g. a Hanyes manual)? *Where can I get the front anti roll bar rubber mounts from? *Where can I any of get the front susspension rubbers from (are they the same as on any other landys)? Thanks. Tyler.

  5. Hi, so ture, Richard Ive noticed that your landy is the only Mv of yours without a name, if you do name it, how about "Lanky" as its a LWB. Tyler.
  6. Who would have thought that a topic about spark plug gaps could be so intresting, as long as its not hamering down with rain I drive everywhere with the top rolled up, as the airflow seems to stop the rain from entering the rear load area and also means the canvas doesnt flap around, mine will sit at 70 quite happily. Tyler.
  7. Welcome, thats a very nice Jeep you've got there. Tyler.
  8. Hi Bowie, if you have a look at http://www.milweb.net then this will give you a good idea of what you can get for your money, but yes you can still get one in the condition you stated for good money, also give http://www.EMLRA.org a look as they may come up on there, also any of the monthly Landrover mags such as http://www.lro.com and even Ebay. Hope that helps. Tyler.
  9. Hi Richard, I have found that the canvas tops are just as warm as the hardtops, and you dont get as much noise as there is less echoing as its a softer material, and you can't beat open top driving. Is it a 12v or a 24v by the way. Tyler.
  10. Ah so you've got the insurance though then, have you tried pulling away in 2nd yet? I'll tell you what, if your ever over my way your welcome to give my SWB S2A a run to get a comparason, save you buying a Weber and not liking it.

  21. Hi Richard the hole is for a radio cable, the holes in the body are for an radio airial mount(as shown in first pic), then you mount the pole (2nd pic), and then an airial base(same as the wing mounted bases), hope this helps.
