Hi All, sorry I havent posted any pics yet been washing it and painting it, but can anyone tell me how to remove the Quad mount from the trailer unit E.G. lower the rear or front first, how to operate the coupling device on the front of the mount itself, as I am cleaning up and painting the trailer unit first. Hi Richard, thats brill, as for being a bit boring that can easily be addressed with some Bar grip tread pattern underlinning The Eastern + Army Mob, or using the tread pattern as the boarder, but I reacon that the design should deffently be the basis for the club badge, so any other ideas on how to liven it up a bit would I am sure be greatley recived. Tyler.

Hi, the K4 and Quad Polsten, didnt arrive yesterday due to delays, but the K4 left Wales (Owestry), at 9:30 this morning, so by now the Polsten should be with it and here about 2 this afternoon (hopefully), I'll post some pics once they have arrived and Ive been forced from the gunners/drivers seats. Hi Richard, I quite like that actually maybe we could have a siloette of your Ferret a Jeep and a landy to give a visual representation of the types of MV's the club has E.G. Ferret = Armour, Jeep = WW2, Landy = softskin/post war etc? Tyler. Ps, you'll have to get it past Mick and his ferret first :lol:

Hi All, Matt thanks for the info about the DVLA service I'll do that as soon as I get the V5 back, Richard I'll try and contact the West Yorkshire Archive Service and see what comes up, Degsy did the AA just publish one of these books or did they update/amend them? Ive looked on the web for anything at all to do with the K4 but have only found pics of restored Civi examples but mostly K2/3 or K5's onwards, it seems that the K4 was/is a forgoten Austin. Hi Matt, blimey you to quick for me, you've found out where it came from before I could even reply to your first message, I know you can contact the DVLA and find out all the previous owners addresses etc, so I will do that once I get the V5 back from them, also a mate told me the AA used to have a book/s of all the registrations in, I don't know how true this is. So yeh Matt/anyone else any help would be greatly appreciated in finding out its past history. Thanks. Tyler

Hi Mick, you would have to change The in TEAM to something else begining with T, otherwise it would be "The A TEAM" = "The Amazing The Eastern Army Mob", so the name would end up something like "The Amazing Terific Eastern Army Mob" etc etc. If anyone can come up with a decent word begining with A or T then please do post it, The A???? Hi Richard, I was thinking more along the lines of Jim Davidson :lol: , well theres has been a bidding fernzy over the broardcasting rights at one point the bidding reached a dizzying height of £1 :shock: , next time I'll put the Rights on Ebay then they should fetch more. :wink: I think what I'll do is take pics during the momentous occation and flog them on Ebay hopefully they'll fetch a small fortune.
