  19. G8, christ i sound like something out of star wars your timber clad body looks to be the same type as this image. Do you intend to recreate the frame ariels on the roof and the front protection board above the roof line
  20. A photo of a Morris D type 30cwt and a Thornycroft in the Waziristan district in 1927
  21. Guys did indeed have a oval badge in those times but Crossly also used a a radiator badge of similar shape and from the close up it would appear to have more than three letters in the name. I would guess the reason for two rads is the climate out there and i would imagine the second one has been installed locally, any more photos from this period
  22. Sounds like a lot of work involved here Nick i am presuming you will be modelling the early OY with the civilian type wheels as per the kit. How does the kit fair i heard some good reports but as yet not seen one in the flesh, two photos attached a cargo and a horse ambulance hopefully they will provide some bonnet detail for you cheers Les
  23. Heres another interesting adaption of a WW2 gin palace body transposed to a 1950 Commer Q2, around 3 to 400 of these including cargo bodies were produced the cargo body it would appear is also from WW2 15cwts if not certainly a pattern of the type
  24. Here are a couple of shots of the Morris gin palace in service the first used by the polish in Italy looks to have been converted for phycological warfare (dont know if i spelt that correct) and the second is early post war morris in Germany
