Adrian
Thank you for the information Richard, I will post an update shortly. That chassis number is a late-ish one, and the production numbers for 980 and 981 combined are around 5000 so I would not be surprised if it is a 1945 vehicle. Did you get your verification from Terry Till? I think he has substantial production records for the T's. All the best, A. Edited October 2, 2012 by Adrian posted before finishing - doh! Adrian
I am missing the 968 input / pictures...........No such trucks in the UK? Towbarlover I see there is a typo on the chart, 978 should read 968, so there is one on the list If someone could post more info on surviving examples I will include it. Cheers, A

Cheers, A Hi Adrian, Re Diamond T 968, I have one to restore, it was brought into the UK from The South of France about ten years ago where it had earnt it's living as a wrecker. There had been a frame built over the body to carry the wire rope from the front winch to the rear of the vehicle, with two substantial jacks for lifting, and an A frame for towing. The original body had been replaced with a purpose built one, but I have aquired a steel body for it. Tony.
