darrenvere
Hi all I have ferret which I am about to start restoring. The ferret is not currently registered with the dvla , and I am wondering what is the best time to try and get the ferret registered. Its currently not running, and no electrics are working. I suppose question is does it need to be road worthy before attempting to get the vehicle registered or is it good enough just to be a fairly complete vehicle ? any advice would be great. Brooky
The vehicle must be reasonably complete it does not have to be roadworthy Speak to the MVT vehicle verification officer
Rubberduck
I still have the joys of this process. All I got told was that they need to see the welded in dating plate. Hate paper work.
Newcoregon
HI; Just a note from the States.... When the importer registered my Ferret he listed it as an ALVIS, not a Diamler vehicle. Someday I will have to cleanup the mistake! Most clerks will not climb into the vehicle to read the data plates. Newc in Oregon USA
