bruutmachien Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Hello, I have been restoring a CCKW 353 and now I have small problem with the brakes. Hydrovac is completely restored. When I hit the brakes without motor running , they function and the brakes let loose as it should be. With the motor running they function very well but they only let loose after a short while ( a few seconds they stay blocked). Can anyone help me with this or have any experience ? Degsy Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 When restoring the hydrovac did you replace the poppet valve? These are slightly different on each type of hydrovac and if the wrong one is fitted would cause the symptoms you describe. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
