Great War truck
I have come across a cracking Dodge WC54 for sale, but it has no engine. Would getting one be easy enough and how much should i pay for it? Thanks Tim (too)
Tony B
Yes mate!! engines are easy enough to get hold of. Very desirable, price as cheap as you can get. whjat's the rest like?
Great War truck
Otherwise it seems to be mostly there. A bit shabby, but no real rust, but missing the bonnet. Tim
Tony B
What one should look like. The bonnet is slightly difrent to the weapons carrier. (Two loves of my life, the third owns the WC54)
Great War truck
Look nice, dont they. How tall is the top of the vent on the roof. I will need to put it in a container so it must not be over 8 feet tall. Also, is there any problem with replacement windscreens or glass? Thanks Tim
Bodge Deep
I dont think glass would be too much of a problem frames can rot out at the bottom once water gets in... My mate bought a second frame and turned the top of the second one into a new bottom for the first one... if you get me!
Joris
Windshields and bonnets might be tricky to get your hands on. Edit: But the bonnet is the same as the one on the carryall.
GoranWC51
I know of an engine for sale (out of a 1943 WC54) in Sweden. As always,
Tony B
So when are you bringing it home? :-D
Great War truck
Sorry chaps. it didnt work out. The seller had an attitude problem and there was a lot more rust on it than i first thought, so i have let this one go. Thanks for your input though.
