R Cubed
Can't remember if this has been suggested, but what about a searchable directory on the forum of Web sites, Companies, people ect who have been used by and recommended due to price, quality ect. The services and what they do, the vehicles they are relevent to, links to their web site, address's and all other sorts of info. Not so much the big companies, as say listed on milweb, but more of the obscure ones such as knobs, buttons, types of fixings, brackets, wiring, brake piping, hose fittings/pipe ect, I am sure you all know what sort of thing I am on about..... N.O.S.
You mean something like the PARTS SUPPLIERS thread, but in a more ordered format with perhaps a more structured way of titling so that it is easier to find what you're after? Good idea.
R Cubed
similar to that but no replies to original posts, would have to be a locked forum, only to view or something like that but also carefully worded in the title to enable searching. More like a directory so you could search by company name or part of it, the service they provide, web address, ect and any one of those sorts of search would pull up all the information about the site, Comp name, web site, phone numbers, address e-mail, multi map map of where they are and also people who have used them what they did for them and what sort of service they got, bit like the feedback on e-bay... ArtistsRifles
No idea if the HMVF hosting server supports this - but on the off-chance it does, rather than a series of posts to dig through why not use an SQL database??? Most hosting severs have the option for MySQL; if we have it - why not use it????
