Anti burst locks 109

ok, I have no keys! so the old lock barrel seems to be stuck fast?

 

I have removed the handle/lock and it seems there is a small hole at the barrel end on the side of the base cylinder. But without the key turning the barrel I assume there is no way to remove?

 

Do I have to drill it all out?

 

as the handle unit is cast and pressed??

If I remember correctly on the 109s there is a small hole that a piece of stiff wire goes in to release a stud the barrel then can be pulled free either with a key or a thin file it may take some time to find the hole and its a bit of a jiggle

You need the key to turn the barrel to line the pin with the hole. Just drill out the barrels if you dont have a key.

I had to do this on the Wolf as I had no keys. There is an article somewhere on the internet how to do it, I'll see if I can find it. Basically if you look at the new lock there's a pin which when pressed in will release it. Try to locate where the pin is on the door handle assy, then you need to drill through it to expose the pin and press it down with something small and sharp. It's quite easy, but you need to be spot on with where you drill the hole.

I have drilled and fitted new barrels! thanks for the advice. But alas! another problem!

 

Now if you yank the handle 3-4 times it unlocks. Seems the doors locks are very worn? any ideas? opr is just new lock time?
